JAKARTA. PT Acset Indonusa Tbk (ACST), the business unit of Astra Group engaged in construction, announced that it had acquired Rp 260 billion worth of new contracts by the end of September 2020.

Idot Supriadi, President Director of ACST, said that the number of new contracts this year was quite low due to the COVID-19 pandemic. "Several tenders have been postponed due to COVID-19 and we are making our best efforts to participate in existing tenders," said Supriadi through a disclosure published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange's website.

Supriadi added that the company did receive invitations for tenders from private companies engaged in the property sector. However, this does not significantly affect the company's new contract value. "Many owners have postponed their tenders from the initial schedule, even until 2021," added Supriadi.

According to idnfinancials.com data, ACST's revenue fell 51.57% Year on Year (YoY) in the first half of 2020 to Rp 748.75 billion. Because of this, the company recorded a loss of Rp 252.2 billion during the period. (KR/AR)
