Kalbe Farma transfers all of its shares in KMI and KAMI to its subsidiary

JAKARTA. PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF) has transferred all of its shares in PT Kalbe Morinaga Indonesia (KMI) and PT Kalbe Milko Indonesia (KAMI) to PT Sanghiang Perkasa, its subsidiary and the nutrition division of Kalbe Group.

Vidjongtius, President Director of KLBF, said that the company transferred 70% of KMI shares (with a total value of Rp198.53 billion) and 51% of KAMI  shares (with a total value of Rp44.88 billion).

The transaction, said Vidjongtius, was an effort by KLBF to merge a number of its subsidiaries running similar businesses. "We hope that the business activities can be more focused, and we can further improve product and service development," said Vidjongtius in a disclosure submitted to the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

At the same time, KLBF also took over 99.96% of PT Karsa Lintas Buana held by by Sanghiang Perkasa. The value of shares taken over by the company is equivalent to Rp212.92 billion. Karsa Lintas Buana itself was founded in 2013 with a focus on providing digital services. (KR/AR)
