Menteng Heritage's Pomelotel to be used as COVID-19 self-quarantine facility

JAKARTA. PT Menteng Heritage Realty Tbk (HRME) has announced the use of Pomelotel as a self-quarantine facility for coronavirus (COVID-19) patients with mild symptoms.

According to HRME CEO Christofer Wibisiono, the hotel's new function, under the operation of PT Wijaya Wisesa Bakti, has been approved by the Jakarta Municipal Government. HRME is a controlling shareholder in Wijaya Wisesa Bakti with a 99.99% stake.

In addition, HRME through Wijaya Wisesa Bakti has also partnered with Medistra Hospital to provide a paid self-quarantine facility for COVID-19 patients. "Medistra Hospital can put patients with mild symptoms under its supervision, and the patients will later be placed under quarantine at Pomelotel," Mr Wibisiono said in a stock exchange filing.

COVID-19 patients with mild symptoms will be placed under quarantine at Pomelotel, while those with medium to severe symptoms will receive intensive care at Medistra Hospital.

According to IDNFinancials.com's data, HRME's revenue dropped 49.55% year on year (yoy) in the first semester (1H) of 2020 to Rp 25.53 billion. Due to the revenue drop, the company's loss in the period almost tripled to Rp 15.7 billion. (KR/MS)
