JAKARTA. The government will inject a cash fund of Rp 30 trillion to the Sovereign Wealth Fund (SWF) as its starting capital, with its total capital amounting to Rp 75 trillion.
According to Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati, the government's equity capital of Rp 75 billion for SWF will be made up of a combination of Rp 30 trillion in cash, state assets, assets and shares in state-owned enterprises, and state receivables.
"This will be stipulated in a Government Regulation, including the inclusion of state-owned enterprises assets," she said, adding that the equity can attract investment amounting to Rp 225 trillion. (AM/MS)
