JAKARTA - Pertamedika Hospital, a subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero), will distribute 305 ventilators to various hospitals. The ventolators were provided by PT Pertamina to support the efforts the handling of the COVID-19 outbreak.
As quoted from a press release on Monday (12/10), Fajriyah Usman, Vice President for Corporate Communication of PT Pertamina (Persero) said that the ventilators would be distributed to a number of referral hospitals.
"A total of 291 units will be distributed to 70 state-owned hospitals, nine to private-owned hospitals, and five to referral hospitals of the East Java Provincial Government," he said.
The devices, he said, are expected to be able to speed up the recovery of COVID-19 patients. (LK/AR)
