DOMPU - State-owned energy firm PT Pertamina (Persero) officially opened a 1-Price Petrol Station on Trans-Calabai Road, Pekat Subdistrict, Dompu Regency, West Nusa Tenggara on Thursday (8/10). Initially, the fuel station was scheduled to commence operation in 2023.

“Pertamina was able to accelerate and commence the operation of the 1-Price Petrol Station in Calabai [three] years earlier than originally planned, with the expectation that people in Pekat Subdistrict will be able to use petrol products with the same prices as in other regions as soon as possible,” said Pertamina Sales Area Manager for West Nusa Tenggara Mahfud Nadyo in an official statement on the Ministry of State-owned Enterprises’ website, Friday (9/10).

The petrol station, said Mr Nadyo, provides subsidised Biosolar and Premium fuel as well as non-subsidised Pertalita, Pertamax, and Biosolar fuel. He added that the petrol station is part of the government’s commitment to provide energy and speed up development.

“The opening of the 1-Price Petrol Station has increased the total number of such petrol stations in Pertamina’s Jatimbalinus (East Java, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara) marketing region to 31, and this is expected to positively impact on the economy as well as improving the people’s quality of life and prosperity,” Mr Nadyo said.
