JAKARTA - The Indonesian Capital Market during the 12 to 16 October period experienced a positive movement. The average daily frequency data experienced the most significant increase, namely 34.57 percent to 778,929 thousand transactions compared to the previous week, which was 578,849 thousand transactions.
Then an increase of 10.34 percent occurred in the average volume of transactions during the week or worth 12.164 billion shares from 11.024 billion shares in the previous week. Meanwhile, data on the average daily transaction value of the Exchange during the week also increased by 9.43 percent to Rp9.121 trillion from Rp8.335 trillion in the previous week.
In addition, data on the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) has increased by 0.98 percent and the stock market capitalization has increased by 0.99 percent during this week. At the closing of this week, the JCI was at 5,103,414 from the level of 5,053,663 last week, while the market capitalization of the Stock Exchange was at Rp 5,935.388 trillion from Rp 5,877,468 trillion last week.
Foreign investors on Friday (16/10) recorded a net selling value of Rp 494.33 billion, while throughout 2020 recorded a net sale of Rp 46.545 trillion. (LM)
