JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) edged up 5.6 points or 0.11% to 5,109.01 at midday break today (19/10). Until this afternoon, the index was seen moving in the range of 5,090.77 and 5,128.27 after closing at 5,103.41 last Friday.
A total of four sectoral indices weakened in the first session of trading, namely the agriculture, manufacturing, consumer goods and miscellaneous industries sectors. The remaining six sectors strengthened and pushed JCI to the green zone.
LQ45 top gainers at midday break today were PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM), PT Ciputra Development Tbk (CTRA) and PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA). (LM)
