JAKARTA - PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BBTN) or BTN posted Rp 293.33 trillion in third-party funds in the third quarter (Q3) of 2020, up 18.66% year on year (yoy) from Rp 230.35 trillion last year.
In a public expose on Thursday (22/10), BTN CEO Pahala Mansury said the bank's third-party fund growth is better compared to the banking sector's third-party fund growth nationally. "The increase in our third-party funds lowered our loan-to-deposit (LDR) ratio to 93.26% in Q3 and strengthened our liquidity coverage ratio (LCR) to 178.40% from 131.12% last year," he said.
In addition to third-party fund growth, Mr Mansury also announced that BTN posted Rp 1.12 trillion in net profit, up from Rp 801 billion last year. "This proves that BTN's strategy is on the right path amid the [COVID-19] pandemic," he said. (LK/MS)
