23 October 2020 11:50

JAKARTA - PT Angkasa Pura (Persero) II assesses that the incentive for passenger service charge (PSC) / airport tax rates will increase the movement of air passengers and increase the frequency of domestic flights.

Muhamad Awaluddin, President Director of PT Angkasa Pura (Persero) II stated in his statement today (23/10) that the stimulus is very positive and it can help many people since it makes ticket price cheaper.

He explained, the PSC rates added to passenger tickets had varied in value. PSC rates for passenger departures at Terminal 2 and 3 of Soekarno-Hatta Airport are Rp85,000 and Rp130,000 per passenger respectively, while in Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport, it is Rp50,000 per passenger.

According to him, the PSC incentive is given by the government to consumers who take domestic flights from Friday (23/10) to 31 December 2020. Angkasa Pura II, he said, will still receive PSC payments originating from the government. "This incentive policy will increase passenger movement at the airport and also occupancy rates," he said.
