JAKARTA - The Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) will provide US$750 million in funding for several projects in Indonesia. This was announced after a meeting between Kimberly A Reed, Head of EXIM) and Luhut Binsar Panjaitan, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment in Jakarta, yesterday (25/10).
In her official statement, Reed said that her party would conduct studies and assessments on a number of projects. "My discussions with Minister Panjaitan were very productive and I am very happy to announce the US $ 750 million MoU with him today," she said.
According to her, the cooperation will boost investment and business development opportunities between the US and Indonesia.
