Blue Bird's revenue climbs 51% in third quarter

JAKARTA - During the third quarter of 2020, PT Blue Bird Tbk (BIRD) managed to record a significant increase in revenue of 51% compared to the second quarter of 2020. The increase in the Company's revenue was accompanied by better cost management as evidenced by the gross profit margin in the third quarter of 12.1% compared to the 2nd quarter of -0.5%. The Company's EBITDA in the third quarter also rose sharply from the previous Rp 7.5 billion in the second quarter of 2020 to Rp 69.1 billion in the third quarter of 2020.

One of the keys to the Company's successful recovery is Blue Bird's ability to provide services that practice strict health protocols. The company also shows efficiency spending measures that have occurred in all lines of the Company, where the total Opex in the 3/2020 quarter stood at Rp. 118 billion, which is the lowest figure since quarter 1/2019.
