JAKARTA - PT Bank Permata Tbk (BNLI) recorded an operating income of Rp 2.6 trillion at the end of the third quarter of 2020, 20.4% higher than its record compared in the same period last year.
"Bank Permata's performance in the third quarter of 2020 was maintained solidly amidst the impact of the global financial crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic," said Ridha D.M. Wirakusumah, BNLI's president director, in his press release.
He said that the company recorded an 8.6% YoY growth in its net interest income and a 9.0% YoY growth in its non-interest income. The achievement, he said, was followed by an improvement in the company's net income margin (NIM) to 4.4%.
In addition, the digitalization of banking transactions helps the company improve its sustainable efficiency ratios. The Cost to Income Ratio (CIR) was recorded at 59.8%, better than its position last year (63.6%). (LK/AR)
