JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) strengthened 6.7 points or 0.13% to 5,166.15 at the end of today's first session. The index was observed to move in the range of 5,159.45 and 5,187.92 after it closed at 5,159.45 yesterday.
A total of four sectors weakened in the first session, namely miscellaneous industries, property, agriculture and finance. The remaining six sectors strengthened and pushed JCI to the green zone.
LQ45 top gainers at midday break today were PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR), PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) and PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN). (LM)
