JAKARTA - PT Matahari Department Store Tbk (LPPF) purchased 400 million of PT Bank Nationalnobu Tbk (NOBU) shares at a price of Rp755 per share (Rp302 billion in total).
Miranti Hadi Susilo, LPPF's corporate secretary, said that the transaction would help establish a long-term relationship with NOBU. "The company believes that investment and partnership with NOBU will bring opportunities to develop business in the long term," he said in the company's disclosure published on Friday (6/11).
According to him, the transaction was carried out on Wednesday (4/11). "With the transaction, we will obtain some exclusivity and long-term certainty," he said.
The company's shareholders include PT Kharisma Buana Nusantara (22.53%), PT Prima Cakrwala Sentosa (19.58%), OCBC Securities Pte Ltd (12.21%), Nomura Securities Co Ltd (10%), James Tjahaja Riady (9.01%), PT Lippo General Insurance Tbk (7.60%), PT Inti Anugerah Pratama (5.43%). (LK/AR)
