JAKARTA. PT Graha Layar Prima Tbk (BLTZ) has reopened its CGV cinema at Transmart Maguwo, Yogyakarta. The cinema had been closed for several months to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Yeo Deoksu, Director of BLTZ, said that the cinema has been opened since 11 November 2020, after the company received a recommendation letter from the COVID-19 Task Force in Sleman.

"The Sleman Regency government task force team will continue to monitor and periodically evaluate the operation of the CGV cinema in Transmart Maguwo," said Deoksu through an information disclosure published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange's website.

In reopening the cinema, Deoksu explained that BLTZ management had prepared a number of health protocols according to the direction of the Ministry of Health. For example, requiring all CGV Cinemas employees and viewers to wear masks, check body temperature, and reduce audience capacity..

Deoksu also hopes that the reopening of the CGV cinema can help restore the economy in other creative industry sectors. (KR/AR)
