BATAM - PT Honda Prospect Motor is expanding its dealer network in Indonesia by opening a Honda Taman Kota dealer on November 11, 2020. The opening of this dealer is based on Honda's market share in Batam which continues to increase over the years.
Honda Taman Kota is the second authorized Honda dealer in Batam city. Located at Jl. Gajah Mada, Baloi Indah, Lubuk Baja, Batam City, Riau Islands, this dealer has a 3-floor building covering an area of 7,452 m2, has services for Honda customers which include sales, service, spare parts, to Body & Paint.

In the January - September 2020 period, Honda's market share in Batam in total increased by 3.5% compared to the same period in 2019. Even though in early 2020 Honda experienced a decline due to the pandemic, Honda's sales gradually increased in the second half, in June and since then, Honda's market share chart in Batam city has continued to increase significantly until it achieved its 2020 high of 19.8% last September.
