ZONE sells all of its MGI shares

JAKARTA. PT Mega Perintis Tbk (ZONE) has obtained IDR 13.25 billion, from the sale of shares of PT Maxindo Global Internusa (MGI).

Luki Rusli, Director of ZONE, said MGI is a subsidiary whose 53% or 13,250 shares are owned by the company through PT Mega Putra Garment (MPG). Meanwhile, MPG is a company that is owned directly by the company.

Rusli added that PT Ames Indah International was the buyer of the MGI shares. "In accordance with the agreement between the two parties through a share sale and purchase agreement with a transaction price of Rp. 13.25 billion, with payments made in stages," said Rusli in information disclosure published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

ZONE decided to release all MGI shares for the sake of business efficiency. With the sale of all MGI shares, the management hopes that the company can concentrate on its core business. (KR/AR)
