JAKARTA. PT Bank Jtrust Indonesia Tbk (BCIC) posted a Rp 419.78 billion loss as of September 2020 due to weakening interest income and allowance for impairment losses.
According to the company's management, its interest income from January to September (9M) 2020 dropped 15.43% year on year (yoy) to Rp 751.84 billion. On the other hand, its non-interest income also plunged 74.35% yoy to Rp 15.33 billion.
In a recently published financial report, BCIC also stated that it allocated Rp 5.76 billion as allowance for impairment losses.
As of late September, BCIC had Rp 16.18 billion in assets. 86.69% of its shares is controlled by J Trust Co Ltd, while public investors with ownership below 5% only control 7.6% of BCIC's shares. (KR/MS)
