KAYU plans a rights issue for next year

JAKARTA - PT Darmi Bersaudara Tbk (KAYU) plans to hold a rights issue next year, in order to raise funds to support its operations.

Nanang Sumartono Hadiwidjojo, KAYU's director, stated in the company's disclosure on Tuesday (17/11) that the company would ask for approval for the plan from its shareholders during its Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS).

In yesterday's trading, KAYU shares were traded with the highest price of IDR 54 per share and IDR 53 at the lowest.

PT Darbe Putra Makmur is KAYU's controlling shareholder with a stake of 54.21%, followed by PT Cladia Karya Investama (7.74%), PT Indymike Inti Investama (7.74%), PT Marinay Berjaya Investama (7.74%), and the public (each under 5%) (22.56%). (LK/AR)
