JAKARTA - The Goods / Services Procurement Policy Agency (LKPP) was asked to make a fundamental change by conducting e-procurement fully. This was conveyed by President Joko Widodo when he opened the LKPP Rakornas virtually on Wednesday (18/11).
"LKPP must have the courage to make many breakthroughs, especially by utilising super modern technology to build a real time procurement system, transforming towards 100% e-procurement, and to increase its data processing capacity," said the President.
Moreover, he reminded that the government procurement system for goods and services must be carried out quickly, transparently, accountably and increase value for money to the people. Therefore, it is necessary to use the latest technology.
According to the President, the latest technology assistance will enable real time monitoring the transactions realisation in every ministry and institution of the central and regional governments. "By relying on these data; ministers, heads of institutions, and regional heads; can be given an alarm, a warning so they can take accelerated steps," said the President. (LK/VA)
