19 November 2020 10:09

JAKARTA - A customer of PT Sentul City Tbk (BKSL) has filed a postponement of debt payment obligations lawsuit against the company at the Central Jakarta Commercial Court. This was announced by Sentul City President Director Tjetje Muljanto in a stock exchange filing on Thursday (19/11).

According to Mr Muljanto, the lawsuit is registered as 387/Pdt.Sus-PKPU/2020/PN Niaga Jakarta Pusat on 13 November 2020. The plaintiff is Alfian Tito Suryansyah, a property buyer.

As a consumer, Mr Suryansyah purchased a property at Sentul City's Green Mountain Cluster for Rp 901.73 billion, which was scheduled to be handed over on 31 May 2017. However, the handover has yet to take place.

The company, Mr Muljanto said, invited the plaintiff to a discussion to settle the matter. "The source of funds and mechanism to repay the consumer, if agreed upon, will be from the company's cash," said Mr Muljanto. (LK/MS)
