JAKARTA - At the end of 2020, through PT. Logitek Digital Nusantara (LDN), a subsidiary of PT Telefast Indonesia Tbk (TFAS) and a member of PT M Cash Integration Tbk (MCAS), PT. SiCepat Ekspres Indonesia once again is expanding the SiCepat Point network in collaboration with PT. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya, Tbk (Alfamart) as a B2B Retail SiCepat Ekspres drop point partner.
PT SiCepat Ekspres Indonesia has previously expanded its distribution network for pick-up and drop-off points since early 2020. This network addition is marked by collaborating with PT. Pos Indonesia, Fastpay, and Sentral Cargo.
Wiwin Dewi Herawati, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) PT. SiCepat Ekspres Indonesia said that this cooperation is one of SiCepat Ekspres's commitments to expand and simplify the reach of SiCepat services, especially in the Jabodetabek area. By using WhatsApp Business, SiCepat Ekspres service users can drop packages from more than 900 Alfamart stores spread across Jabodetabek. "This collaboration is a form of our response to SiCepat Ekspres service users, whose number has increased to 3 million sellers in the third quarter of 2020, and it is predicted that in the first quarter of 2021 it will increase by up to 10%," explained Wiwin.
Wiwin also added that the cooperation was conducted with Alfamart because it has become a brand that has been embedded in the hearts of the public with store expansion that has been evenly distributed, especially in the Greater Jakarta area. The cooperation is also being carried out as SiCepat's strategy in the second semester to achieve the delivery target of 2 million per day by 2021.
Jody Hedrian, CEO of Telefast Indonesia said that LDN and TFAS provide a technology system for ordering, tracking, and payment for package delivery services in cooperation between SiCepat Ekspres and Alfamart. To use the package delivery / drop service through Alfamart, the sender first registers via WhatsApp Business at +62811-1062-8888 and the user will be directed to choose the nearest Alfamart store which will then be processed by Alfamart Cashier, after which the package will be picked up by the SiCepat Ekspres officer.
