JAKARTA. Shania Manoj Punjabi purchased 1.86 million shares in PT MD Pictures Tbk (FILM) when the production house's shares were widely transacted at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
According to a stock exchange filing, Mrs Punjabi purchased the shares on 18 November 2020. She spent a total of Rp 397.47 million on the transaction at prices of Rp 212, Rp 214, and Rp 216 per share.
Based on IDNFinancials.com's data, MD Pictures's share price on 18 November 2020 was opened at Rp 212 per share and closed at the same price. During trading hours, the company's share price reached Rp 226 per share and fell as low as Rp 208 per share.
MD Pictures' transaction volume on 18 November 2020 was recorded at 4.4 million times with a value of Rp 934.98 million. On the previous day, its trade frequency reached 20.31 million with a transaction value of Rp 4.4 billion.
According to Mrs Punjabi, her purchase of shares on 18 November was for investment purposes. Currently she serves as a director at MD Pictures. (KR/MS)
