KISI-AM expects MSCI Indonesia ETF to raise IDR 500 billion

JAKARTA - PT KISI Asset Management (KISI-AM) expects that its MSCI Indonesia ETF mutual fund product to be able to raise assets under management (AUM) of IDR 500 billion by the end of 2021.

Mustofa, President Director of KISI-AM, said during the launch of the ETF on Monday (23/11) that the mutual fund product refer to the MSCI Indonesia index. It contains 22 large and medium cap stocks with high liquidity. "This mutual fund has received an effective statement from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) on 11 November 2020," he said.

In launching the ETF, KISI-AM collaborates with Korea Investment & Sekuritas Indonesian as participant dealer and PT Bank KEB Hana Indonesia as the custodian Bank. "KISI AM sees an opportunity from the need from domestic and global investors to invest in index mutual funds that are recognized and accepted globally," he said.

According to him, this ETF product will be one of the choices for investors who want to invest in stocks with strong fundamentals and high liquidity. (LK/AR)
