JAKARTA - The capital injection from PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom) to Gojek will provide added value for the telecommunication company.
Director of Anugerah Mega Investama, Hans Kwee, said that the collaboration aspect between the data on Gojek and what Telkom and Telkomsel needs will provide added value. "Now that's what causes market players to see added value," he said as quoted by detikcom on Tuesday (11/24/2020).
Recently, Telkom has injected funds amounting to US$ 150 million or IDR 2.17 trillion to Gojek.
Furthermore, Hans said that the corporate action had an impact not only for strengthening shares value but also the company's business.
He also said that currently the super application business like Gojek is still skyrocketing. There are more users even in the midst of pandemic.
"Gojek has an increasing trend. On the other hand, Telkom controls the data business. So, there is a good collaboration," he said. (AM/VA)
