JAKARTA - Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan has tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).
This was announced by the Jakarta Municipal Government through the Information and Documentation Management Office’s website on Tuesday (1/12).
“Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan has confirmed that he tested positive for COVID-19,” the announcement wrote.
Previously on Sunday (29/11) Jakarta Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria announced that he had tested positive for COVID-19 after one of his personal staffers had contracted the virus from the staffer’s family.
Mr Patria is currently in self-isolation with supervision from health personnel. (MS)
