JAKARTA - Two former state officials have strengthened the board of commissioners of PT Sarana Meditama Metropolitan Tbk (SAME). The appointment was made at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) which took place yesterday (1/12).
In the information disclosure delivered on Wednesday (2/12), SAME shareholders appointed Robert Pakpahan as President Commissioner / Independent Commissioner, and Unggung Cahyono as Independent Commissioner. Pakpahan is known to have worked at Ministry of Finance for a long time with his last position as Director General (Dirjen Pajak). Currently, he is the Deputy Chairperson and Member of the Tax Supervision Committee (Komwasjak) for 2019-2022 period.
Meanwhile, Unggung Cahyono is known as a retired Indonesian National Police (Polri). Before retiring last year, he served as the Head of the National Police Intelligence and Security Agency (Kabaintelkam). He also served as Chief of the Regional Police of the Republic of Indonesia (Kapolda) Metro Jaya and had surrounded the headquarters of Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) in Petamburan, Jakarta. (LK/VA)
