JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) strengthened by 48.94 points or 0.86% to 5,773.67 at midday break today (2/12). The index was observed to move in the range of 5,724.74 and 5,784.91 after closing at the level of 5,724.74 yesterday.
All sectoral indices strengthened and pushed the JCI to the green zone. The largest increases occurred in the various industries and mining sectors, which grew 2.31% and 2.03%, respectively.
The top gainers in today's trade are PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM), PT Merdeka Copper Tbk (MDKA) and PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO). (LM)
