AISA's financial condition improved after paying debts

JAKARTA - The financial condition of PT Tiga Pilar Sejahtera Food Tbk (AISA) has improved after the payment of a number of its debts to several creditors of financial institutions.

The President Director of AISA, Lim Aun Seng, in an information disclosure on Indonesia Stock Exchange, explained that they had already paid debts on November 27, November 30 and December 1, 2020.

According to Mr Lim, with the completion of AISA's obligations to Creditors of Financial Institutions, there had been an improvement in financial position, reduced interest expenses and liabilities.

In September 2020, AISA had taken corporate action through Capital Increase without Pre-emptive Rights (PMTHMETD) and obtained a maximum fund of around IDR 1.26 trillion. The funds were then paid to a number of creditors of financial institutions. (AM/VA)
