JAKARTA - Manpower Minister Ida Fauziyah has tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).
This was announced by the Ministry of Manpower’s Head of Public Relations Soes Hindharmo on Thursday (3/12).
“The Minister’s test results came back positive,” Mr Hindharno told Detik.com.
“However, she is in good condition and has been ordered to rest and self-isolate.”
Ms Fauziyah is the third cabinet minister to have tested positive for COVID-19; previously, Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi and Maritime Affairs and Fishery Minister Edhy Prabowo also contracted coronavirus, although they have made full recovery since. (MS)
