JAKARTA - Telecommunication firm PT Mora Telematika Indonesia (Moratelindo) has bought back Rp 553.36 billion worth of Bond I 2017 Series A, which matured on Sunday (6/12). The payment of the bond's principal and interest was done on 4 December 2020.
According to Moratelindo Corporate Secretary Henry Rizar Rumapoa, the bond buyback amounted to Rp 540 billion and Rp 13.36 billion for the principal and the 12th interest respectively. "The company bought back the bond by transferring to the Indonesia Central Securities Depository's (ICSD) account," he said.
With the buyback, Moratelindo has fully repaid its Bond I 2017 Series A. (LK/MS)
