JAKARTA. The Djarum Group's telecommunications arm PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR) will pay an interim dividend of Rp 6 per share for the 2020 fiscal year.
According to TOWR Corporate Secretary Irfan Ghazali, the decision has been approved by the company's board of commissioners and is in line with its articles of association. As such, he said, the corporate action will not have any negative impact on the company.
"The payment of the interim dividend will not disrupt the company, make the company unable to fulfill its liabilities to creditors, or disrupt the company's operational activities," Mr Ghazali said in a letter addressed to the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
On Monday (7/12), TOWR's management announced that its cum dividend will be paid in the regular and negotiation market on 14 December 2020 and in the cash market on 16 December, while the interim dividend will be paid on 21 December.
According to IDNFinancials.com's data, TOWER currently has 51.01 billion shares in circulation, making the total interim dividend approximately Rp 306.08 billion. (KR/MS)
