PKPU's lawsuit against Nipress ended peacefully

JAKARTA - The application for Postponement of Debt Payment Obligation (PKPU) against PT Nipress Energi Otomotif (NEO), a subsidiary of PT Nipres Tbk (NIPS), filed by 15 creditors to the Central Jakarta Commercial Court, ended peacefully. This was conveyed by Puji Haryani, Corporate Secretary of NIPS in an information disclosure quoted on Tuesday (8/12).

She said that the peace agreement with the creditor planned to be established by the Central Jakarta Commercial Court (PN) last week (3/12), but was postponed until next week (17/12). "The company will carry out all existing commitments that have been stipulated in the peace agreement with the creditors," she said.

NEO's debt obligations to separatist creditors include Hitachi Singapore, TSO Solution, and Trinitan MM totaling Rp 432.19 billion. Obligations to konkueren creditors, namely, PT Verena Multi Finance Tbk (VRNA), PT Global Packaging System, PT Hitachi High-Technologies Indonesia, PT Hanwa Indonesia, Hanwa Co Ltd, and PT SMFL Leasing Indonesia; and trade payables to CV Matahari Terbit, PT Boxindah Gala Sejati, PT Trinitan Plastic Industries, NIPS, SKY, PT Matra Mandiri Prima, and Orix Indonesia Finance.
