SOCI obtained a syndicated loan for refinancing

JAKARTA - PT Soechi Lines Tbk (SOCI), a shipping service company, obtained a syndicated bank loan worth US$ 180 million which was used to refinance debt to a number of creditors. This was conveyed by Paula Marlina, Director of SOCI in an information disclosure, Tuesday (8/12).

She mentioned that the syndicated loan was obtained from PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk and PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. The funds for refinancing will support the business activities of SOCI and its subsidiaries. "The company and several subsidiaries are the guarantor for the facility, "she said.

The syndicated credit facility was obtained last week (4/12). This facility will be used to repay syndicated debt of US$ 180 million Senior Secured Facilities Agreement, which was signed on August 16, 2016, to refinance Global Bond worth US$ 140 million, and to finance reimbursement of consent fee to Global Bond holders with a maximum limit US$ 1 million for this facility.
