PMN will offer IDR 50 billion of sukuk mudharabah

JAKARTA - PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (Persero) or PMN, a government-owned company, engaged in non-bank financial services, will conduct a limited offering of Sukuk Mudharabah III Year 2019 Series H with a principal amount of IDR 50 billion.

The debt securities have been registered with floating profit sharing per year, according to the securities registration letter, signed by the Director of Indonesian Central Securities Depository (KSEI), Syafruddin. The sukuk mudharabah trading unit is set at IDR 500 million and the transfer of IDR 5 billion.

The initial electronic distribution will begin on Tuesday (15/12). PMN registered this debt security with a 3-year tenor and a profit sharing payment every 3 months.

In issuing sukuk mudharabah, PMN appointed PT Bank Syariah Mandiri as the trustee. Bank Syariah Mandiri is a subsidiary of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) with a share ownership of 99.99%. Like PNM, some of BMRI's shares are also controlled by Indonesian Government through Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises. (KR/VA)
