JAKARTA. PT Surya Esa Perkasa Tbk (ESSA) received the Blue Proper award from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) for the 2019-2020 period.
Lufy Setia, Corporate Secretary of ESSA, explained that the award was given because the company was considered successful in implementing an environmental management system. In addition, PT Panca Amara Utama (PAU), which is a subsidiary of the company, also received the same award from KLHK.
"Proper assessment aspects include environmental permits, water pollution control, air pollution control, hazardous and toxic waste management, and land management," said Setia in a press release received by idnfinancials.com.
Since 5 years ago, SEP has also received the same award from KLHK. "With this award, SPE has won the Proper Blue award 6 times in a row and PAU 2 times in a row," said Setia. (KR/LM)
