Nusantara Infrastructure aims for 50% revenue growth in 2021

JAKARTA. PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk (META) projects its revenue to grow 50% in 2021 following the completion of the Pettarani toll road in Makassar and the Lau Gunung Water Power Plant in North Sumatra.

According to META Director Danni Hasan, the toll road, which was completed on schedule in September 2020, is expected to commence full operation in the first quarter of 2021, he said in a virtual public expose on Wednesday, 23 December 2020.

The Pettarani toll road, Mr Hassan said, will contribute Rp 186 billion to the company's toll road revenue, increasing its total revenue from the segment by 200%.

With the completion of the Lau Gunung Water Power Plant in North Sumatra, contribution from the renewable energy sector is expected to increase to Rp 67 billion from Rp 9 billion. "If the project runs smoothly, it is expected that [the company's] consolidated revenue will increase by 50% year on year (yoy)," Mr Hassan said. (AM/MS)
