JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) closed today's trading (5/1) at 6,137.34. The index rose by 32.44 points from the previous closing at 6,104.89.
During the day, the index was seen moving between 6,073.41 and 6,145.61. A total of 18.20 billion shares have been traded with a transaction value of Rp 16.47 trillion.
A total of 260 stocks fell, 230 stocks moved flat and 227 stocks moved higher. The top gainers in today's trade are PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA), PT Ever Shine Textile Tbk (ESTI) and PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP). (LM)
