JAKARTA. Government debt realisation in 2020 was recorded at Rp 1,226.8 trillion, 100.5% of the Rp 1,220.5 trillion target set in the State Budget.
According to Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati, debt realisation in 2020 soared 180.4% from Rp 351.9 trillion in 2019. "Debt financing [in 2020] reached Rp 1,226.8 trillion, 100.5% of the target set in Presidential Regulation No. 72 of 2020," she said in a virtual press conference on Budget realisation, Wednesday (6/1).
The amount consisted of Rp 1,777.2 trillion in net government securities and Rp 49.7 trillion in net loans.
In 2020, investment financing was recorded at Rp 104.7 trillion, consisting of Rp 31.1 trillion for state-owned enterprises, Rp 31.3 trillion for public service agencies, and Rp 25.0 trillion for agencies/institutions.
As part of debt financing, loan realisation in the year was recorded at Rp 1.5 trillion, liabilities Rp 2.6 trillion, and other financing Rp 70.9 trillion. Thus, the total budget financing was recorded at Rp 1,190.9 trillion, up 196.2% from Rp 402.1 trillion from the previous year. (AM/MS)
