Bumi Resources paid off Tranche A debt worth US$ 334.8 million

JAKARTA - PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) has made the 12th payment of Tranche A principal debt and interest, worth US$ 334.8 million, on Friday (8/1).

"The company has currently paid a total of US$ 334.8 million in cash," said Dileep Srivastava, Director and Corporate Secretary of BUMI, through an information disclosure on Indonesia Stock Exchange.

He added that the paid funds consisted of Tranche A principal, amounting to US$ 195.8 million. Then, the remaining US$ 139 million is accrued interest and unpaid interest.

In April 2021, BUMI will proceed the next Tranche A payment. Srivastava admitted that the company had also started to capitalise on interest payments of Tranche B and C debts. (KR/VA)
