Ciputra's marketing sales fell 10% throughout 2020

JAKARTA - Covid-19 pandemic caused the marketing sales of PT Ciputra Development Tbk (CTRA), throughout 2020, to drop around 10% to IDR 5 trillion. This income was still dominated by the first home buyer segment.

Independent Director of Ciputra Development, Tulus Santoso, said that they achieved marketing sales of IDR 6.1 trillion in 2019. The decline was in line with economic slowdown due to the pandemic.

In revised CTRA marketing sales target, from IDR 6.7 trillion to IDR 4.5 trillion, it had exceeded the target.

According to Santoso, the market stability and recurring income in 2021 would still depend heavily on pandemic situation. ”Moreover, in January 2021, social restrictions have been reapplied in Java-Bali," he said, as quoted by Kontan.co.id, Monday (11/1/2021). (AM/VA)
