Pratama Widya obtains contract from Balikpapan JO RDMP

JAKARTA. PT Pratama Widya Tbk (PTPW) has announced a new contract from the development of Balikpapan JO Refinery Development Master Plan (RDMP) with a value of Rp 92 billion.

According to PTPW Director Cyrilus Winatama K., the company will act as a subcontractor for the development of refinery micropiles. "The contract has a period of 18 months starting from the commencement of the work," he said in an official statement.

Balikpapan JO RDMP is a joint operation between Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co Ltd, PT Rekayasa Industri (Persero), PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk (PTPP), and PT Pertamina (Persero).

According to Pertamina VP for Corporate Communications Fajriyah Usman, the project requires Rp 57.8 trillion investment. After its completion, the capacity of Balikpapan refineries is expected to increase 38% to 360,000 barrels per day. (KR/MS)
