JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo had received the first injection of COVID-19 vaccine in Indonesia, which took place at the State Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday (13/1). Vaccine injection took place at 09.40 WIB (GMT+7), as broadcasted on a Youtube channel of Indonesian Presidential Secretary.
Heru Budi Hartono, Head of Indonesian Presidential Secretary, explained that the President clarified his data and checked blood pressure before the vaccine injection. "The final stage is getting a vaccination certificate," he said.
The injection was carried out by Professor dr. Abdul Muthalib, a member of Indonesian Presidential medical team.
Abdul Muthalib said the President was injected with Sinovac vaccine. (LK/VA)
