JAKARTA - Hotel Le Meridien Bali Jimbaran opens with limited operation since yesterday (12/1), until unforeseeable future, related to the Implementation of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) in Java and Bali. This was conveyed by the management of PT Ristia Bintang Mahkotasejati Tbk (RBMS), parent company of PT Tiara Raya Bali International, which manages Hotel Le Meridien Bali Jimbaran, in an information disclosure on Thursday (14/1).
In the statement, they would be impacted with loss of income during the period of restriction. "Since January 12, 2021, hotels have only accepted bookings for events, meetings and groups which are carried out with strict health protocols and following government regulations," said the management.
Prior to this, Le Meridien Bali Jimbaran was fully operating from December 2020 to January 11, 2021. However, it did not last long as the PPKM was implemented to reduce COVID-19 case. "The high level of COVID-19 case has caused tourism in Bali to remain sluggish,” they added. (LK/VA)
