JAKARTA - PT Ashmore Asset Management Indonesia Tbk (AMOR) projects that its total managed funds reached Rp 38.61 trillion in December 2020, up by Rp 13.36 trillion from September 2020. This was announced by AMOR President Director Ronaldus Gandahusada in a press release on Friday (15/1).

The managed funds consisted of Rp 12.54 trillion in fixed income, Rp 25.86 trillion in stocks, and Rp 21 billion in others. "The Rp 13.4 trillion growth of managed funds was boosted by a Rp 7.24 trillion increase of cash flow and Rp 6.1 trillion growth in investment," said Mr Gandahusada.

According to Mr Gandahusada, despite the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in 2020 AMOR managed to record its highest managed funds to date. "This is proof of Ashmore's active investment approach to expand its products and distribution," he said.

The company, he said, remains optimistic that its performance will remain adequate this year due to the government's COVID-19 vaccination programme and economic reforms which will boost the stock market and fixed income. (LK/MS)
