Asta Keramasan Energi stops operating

JAKARTA - PT Asta Keramasan Energi (AKE), a subsidiary of PT Leyand International Tbk (LAPD), has stopped operating since early December 2020, due to depletion of fuel supply for its Diesel Power Plant (PLTD) engine. This was conveyed by Risming Adyanto, President Director of LAPD, in an information disclosure published on Tuesday (19/1).

He mentioned that with the operation cessation, they had not recorded revenue until mid-January 2021. "There is no fuel supply that has been provided by the State Electricity Company (PLN)," said Adyanto.

In addition, he explained that the power purchase contract between AKE and PLN had also been completed on December 31, 2020. Currently, he added, the company was trying to regain a cooperation contract with PLN.

AKE is a power generation sector company which was founded in 2005. As of June 30, 2020, its asset value was recorded at IDR 128.51 billion. AKE's paid-up and issued capital was IDR 299.50 billion, with share ownership structures, including LAPD IDR 204 billion, South Power Energy Pte Ltd IDR 88 billion, and PT Asta Pebetha IDR 7.5 billion.
