Bangun Tirta Lestari obtains US$ 40 million loan facility from Bank Mandiri

JAKARTA - PT Bangun Tirta Lestari (BTL), a subsidiary of PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN) obtained a loan facility worth US$ 40 million from PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI). The loan facility was signed by BTL and Bank Mandiri on Tuesday (19/1).

Quoted from the information disclosure on Thursday (21/1), Dian Rachmandani, Corporate Secretary of PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN) said that the loan facility will be used to finance existing assets in the form of a 3x7 Megawatt (MW) Hydro Power Plant (PLTA) in Lebong, Bengkulu. "Credit withdrawals are carried out by moving books at once or gradually to Bangun Tirta Lestari's account at Bank Mandiri," she said.

BTL is the manager of PLTA Lebong, Bengkulu, which began operating in 2011 with 98.40% stake owned by KEEN as of September 2020. The company's total asset is recorded at US$ 130.50 million. (LK/LM)
