JAKARTA. The National Energy Board (DEN) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) and PT Len Industri (Persero) regarding the financing and installation of a Rooftop Solar Panel (PLTS).
Djoko Siswanto, Secretary General of DEN, said that the MoU will help the realization and implementation of New and Renewable Energy (EBT). "This also supports the achievement of the energy mix target of 23% EBT in 2025," said Siswanto in a release today.
The scope of the MoU includes coordination on financing programs, implementation, and training for the maintenance of the Rooftop Solar Panel system. "Hopefully this MoU will become a role model, an example for all consumers who will use the Rooftop Solar Panel," said Siswanto. (KR/LM)
