JAKARTA - PT Century Textile Industry Tbk (CNTX) posted a loss of US$ 4.06 million throughout 2020, greater than the loss in 2019 of US$ 1.28 million. This is stated in the Financial Report of PT Century Textile Industry Tbk (CNTX) which was submitted to the IDX, Tuesday (26/1).
In the financial report signed by Katsuya Okajima, President Director of PT Century Textile Industry Tbk (CNTX), it was noted that CNTX sales fell to US$ 12.67 million from the 2019 sales achievement of US$ 28.81 million. This was also followed by a decrease in gross profit to US$ 1.36 million from US$ 2.82 million.
CNTX's biggest sales contributor came from within the country, amounting to US$ 6.32 million and the rest from exports. The export destination countries include Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, the Netherlands, North America, Europe and other countries in the Middle East, Asia and Europe. Meanwhile, CNTX sales in the domestic market in 2019 amounted to US$ 14 million and exports were approximately US$ 14.8 million. (LK/LM)
